Frequently asked
When does Quizatry launch?
Soon. The game is built and we’re getting it through the App Store and Google Play. We haven’t set a date, so join the waitlist and we’ll email you the day it’s out.
What can I play it on?
Quizatry is made for iPhone and Android phones. We’ll list the exact supported versions on the App Store and Google Play pages at launch.
How many people can play?
Two or three players or teams, sharing one phone. Teams can be as big as your sofa. Playing alone? Take on the computer at Easy, Medium or Hard.
How long is a game?
You set it. Pick a target chain of 4, 5 or 6 links: 4 is a quick round, 6 is a long game with plenty of blocking. You can also add a 60- or 90-second answer clock, or leave it off.
What’s a Brain Pill?
You earn one for every right answer, or in Oddball for explaining the connection. Spend them to add +1 to a move, so you can reach the square you actually want.
How are answers checked?
Out loud. You say your answer, tap to reveal the real one, and the other team rules on it. Accepted alternatives are shown too, so “Washington, D.C.” and “Washington” both count. Solo, you judge yourself. Honestly.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Every game plays offline, start to finish. When you are online, Quizatry quietly picks up new and corrected questions between games.
Do I need an account?
No. There’s no sign-up and no account. Open it and play.
I think an answer is wrong. What do I do?
After the answer is revealed, tap the report button and choose what’s wrong. We review every report, and fixed questions reach your phone without an app update.
Is it accessible?
Settings include colour-blind friendly links (each team gets a shape as well as a colour), reduced motion, light and dark themes, and sound and haptics you can switch off.
What does the app collect?
Very little. No accounts, no advertising, no tracking across apps. With your permission it sends anonymous gameplay results and crash reports, which you can switch off any time in Settings. Read the privacy policy.
How much does it cost?
We’ll confirm pricing before launch. Waitlist members hear it first.
